Now, we see some combinations of  vowel sounds.They are called diphthongs.To pronounce diphthongs, there must be smooth gliding from one vowel sound to the other.

It is a combination of vowel sounds in /car/ and in /good/.

e.g. our,mouse,house etc.

11.The sound as in /tone/

It is a combination of vowel sounds in /listen/(second vowel sound) and in /good/.

e.g.goat,coat,phone etc.

12.The sound as in /fight/

It is a combination of vowel sounds in /car/and in /sit/.

e.g.kite,slight,night etc.

13.The sound as in /there/

It is a combination of vowel sounds in /pen/ and in /listen/ (second vowel sound).
